I know dentists have to report to them and I'm afraid since my child has caries on several teeth that the dentist will call cps. Not only do I not want to lose my child, but I am more afraid of the lifetime emotional scars my child would have going through such a horrible and unspeakable time, all because I wanted to get dental care so my child wouldn't have pain anymore. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! My stomach gets tied up in knots just thinking about making an appointment. I cannot imagine watching the police and cps taking my child away and worse knowing the horror my child would be going through.
